Allows Director of Department of Consumer and Business Services to establish temporary programs to train and certify specialized building inspectors to enforce portions of specialty codes. Allows Director of Department of Consumer and Business Services to establish temporary programs to train and certify specialized building inspectors to enforce portions of specialty codes.
Broadens authority of director to offer training and other education programs for building officials and inspectors. Allows director to adopt certain rules related to certification of building officials and inspectors. Allows director to deny, condition, suspend, revoke or refuse to renew certificate if building official or inspector commits specified acts.
