Provides that abuse of a corpse in the first degree involving sexual activity is a sex crime for purposes of sex offender reporting.
Authorizes the Department of Transportation to share personal information and driver license photos with humane special agents.
Modifies the definition of "law enforcement officer" and "law enforcement agency" for purposes of police oversight provisions.
Authorizes a humane investigation agency to request fingerprint-based criminal records check for people who are employed or applying for employment by the agency or who provide services or seek to provide services to the agency.
Provides that hearings of the State Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision and Psychiatric Security Review Board are not subject to the requirement to publish recordings on a website.
Directs court to admit into evidence data prepared by the Department of Transportation that details driver's record in prosecutions of driving while suspended or revoked.
Establishes the Oregon Public Defense Commission Lawyer Trust Account for the sole purpose of making payments on behalf of clients of the Oregon Public Defense Commission. Provides that commission may establish subaccounts.
Expands the scope of the crime of hit and run of property to any highway or premises open to the public or any premises adjacent to a highway or premises open to the public. Expands crime of hit and run of an injured person to any location.
Declares an emergency, effective on passage.
