Directs Department of Revenue to offer to suspend collection of unpaid tax from taxpayer if certain conditions exist. Provides for annual review of taxpayer's eligibility for suspension. Permits department to resume collection of unpaid tax if taxpayer no longer qualifies for suspension. Applies to tax debt that is outstanding as of January 1, 2016.
Directs department to inform taxpayer in warrant for collection of tax that certain types of income are exempt from garnishment.
Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.
