Relating to kindergarten; prescribing an effective date.
Catchline/Summary:
Requires school districts to offer half-day kindergarten. Requires school districts to offer half-day kindergarten. Allows school districts and charter schools to offer supplemental kindergarten. Changes basis of calculation of aggregate days membership for supplemental kindergarten pupils for purposes of State School Fund distributions.
First applies to 2010-2011 school year.
Takes effect July 1, 2010.
