Directs Public Utility Commission to develop pilot program to integrate up to 17 megawatts of electricity generated from solar power into load used in this state. Directs commission to adopt rules to establish program and authorizes commission to make incentive payments to enable efficient generation of electricity at lowest cost to customers.
Requires commission to report to Legislative Assembly concerning effectiveness of pilot program.
