Proposes revision to Oregon Constitution to create office of State Controller. Proposes revision to Oregon Constitution to create office of State Controller. Provides that State Controller administers laws governing conduct of elections, including laws governing election campaign finance and state legislative and congressional redistricting. Directs State Controller to appoint commission to create legislative and congressional redistricting plans following each decennial census.
Directs State Controller to provide investigatory services to agency charged with administering government ethics laws.
Refers proposed revision to people for their approval or rejection at next primary election.
